Industrial Website Design & Ecommerce for Manufacturers

See how RMC Engineering improved usability, SEO, and product visibility with a modern website redesign and ecommerce integration.

RMC Engineering, a heavy equipment repair and manufacturing facility based in Gilroy, CA, came into this project with a website that had not been updated in over a decade. While the business had evolved and expanded its product offerings over time, the website no longer reflected its capabilities. The outdated structure made it difficult for users to navigate, understand available products, or take action—limiting its effectiveness as a tool for attracting and converting B2B clients.

The primary goal was to modernize the website while improving structure, usability, and search visibility. I designed and developed a fully updated website with integrated ecommerce functionality, allowing RMC Engineering to showcase and sell products directly online. The new build included a structured product catalog and an international vendor map with a zip code search feature, making it easier for customers to locate distributors and access relevant information. A strong focus was placed on SEO and data organization, ensuring that both users and search engines could clearly understand the company’s offerings.

Following the redesign, RMC Engineering saw improved engagement and a noticeable increase in product awareness among site visitors. The new structure allows users to quickly navigate complex product information, while the ecommerce integration opens new opportunities for direct sales. This project demonstrates how a well-organized, modern website can support both visibility and functionality—especially for industrial businesses with large product catalogs and specialized audiences.
